Yesterday, I sprayed copious amounts of carb cleaner into the ZS’s and went to bed.

This morning, the car started and spluttered and ran for a few seconds. The good thing about this is that gas vapor can be seen coming out of the carb after the motor stops turning. This means that the fuel is being atomized and the carb gunk is more or less gone.

Today also saw a new fuel line and transparent fuel filter installed. The gas in the filter has a cloudy look to it, which I think means water - yes, very bad gas. Now we get the wonderful chore of draining the gas tank and putting in fresh. Modern gas doesn’t last very long… not like the old days.
